It'€™s best to cover each angle such as front, back, sides or corners.

How much will it cost to install a video surveillance system?
The price could range from $75-$300+ per camera. So many things are factor in the cost such as wire, wireless, distance, construction type, quantity, height, concealment, etc.

What kind of video surveillance system do I need?
Each environment is different, your option are Digital Video Recorder (DVR), Network Video Recorder (NVR), Wireless system or Hardwire system.

What is the best location to place the DVR?
For a business, the best location would be a secure network/data closet. For residential, if the home walls are in place, the best location to is the top floor to conceal cables though attic. The attic may not be the best location based on the design of the house and camera location. A site survey may be required.

What are the benefits of a video surveillance system?
It will give you a peace of mind knowing when incidents happen on your property you have a recorded copy. Also, it will keep people honest when they know that they are being watched.

What type of wall bracket is needed for my TV?
There are three types and it depends on your room size: standard flat - picture height with “NO” adjacent rooms (narrow room); tilt - for TV’s higher than picture height; full motion – picture height with adjacent rooms (wide room).

€‹How long does it take to install a TV?
The average time for a professional installer would be between 1-4 hours including conceal cables, power bridge, etc.

What tools and equipment do I need to wall mount a TV? 
The standard tools are as follow; level, power drill, measuring tape, stud finder, pencil, and accessories such as screws, washer, anchors and toggle bolts.

What type of TV should I buy?
Your TV option are many such as LCD, Plasma, DLP, LED, 4K, it depends on your need for refresh rate, colors, etc. The amount of light in the room will have an impact on the type of TV.

How much does it cost to wall mount a TV?
There is a wide range of prices, because the size manner, location/height, and configuration. The range is $95-$300 excluding home theater systems.

What type of cable should I use?
There are so many types of cables on the market, shielded and unshielded to protect your line signal. Also, you need to factor in room for bandwidth growth that will support future expansion.

What is the distance a cable line will support?
Cat 5 – 300ft; Cat5e – 328ft; Cat6 – 328ft; Cat7 – 328; Fiber OM1-OM4 up to 2000 meters; RG-59/U – 250ft; RG-6/U 300ft; RG-11/U 500ft.

Pentium or PVC or Shielded?
Cable jacket is determined based on building code. PVC is typically installed on patch cords and Pentium installed in riser/ceiling. Shielded cable is used for protecting signal from outside interferences.

How much does it cost to hire a professional installer?
Cable installation can cost in the range of $100-$400 per line.

How many lines should be at one location?
This is determined by the number of devices that will require network connection.
